Pablo’s Pantry

Just got back from Greece and longing for more of that rich, hearty, homestyle cooking? Well Woolloongabba’s newest eatery is here to sate your cravings, with a menu of classic Greek dishes that have been passed down for generations. 

Opening on Thursday 29 June, Pablo’s Pantry is part cafe, part deli, part wine bar, and is the creation of mother-daughter duo Helen and Marissa Kentrotis, who wanted to create a space that felt like home to all who visited. The result is an intimate, 20-seater spot decked out in warm tones, lined by shelves laden with local deli goods, where you can share a meal or just grab something to go. 

By day, Pablo’s will serve up Good Bean coffee, breakfast classics with a twist and Greek deli delights and pastries—think everything from almond croissants, avo on toast and egg sandos to slabs of spanakopita and pastitsio to pair with lemon potatoes. By night, on Fridays and Saturdays only, the cafe-slash-deli will turn into a wine bar dishing up antipasto and share plates alongside a curated wine list. 

Of course, you can also pop in just to browse the shelves of local goodies, including pickles, honey, pasta sauces, cheese and more. Whatever you’re here for, you won’t walk out empty handed.
