Hamilton’s Portside Wharf has welcomed a new addition to its precinct, Portside Social. One from All Stars Hospitality Group, the crew behind the successful Newstead Social, not to mention the Valley's pumping Wonderland nightclub, this slick but relaxed gastropub is here to give Hamilton locals a new go-to watering hole.

With cosy seating inside by the sleek tiled bar and plenty of bar tables outside in the river breeze, this spot is dishing up plenty of pub favourites, but with a little more pizazz than your usual suburban hotel. Think bar bites like saucy winges, arancini balls and haloumi tacos, plus heartier feeds like classic parmis, fried chicken burgers and BBQ pork ribs.

For the carnivores out there, they have an impressive selection of steak options. Choose from a 250-gram sirloin, 300-gram rump, or share a whopping 1.2kg wagyu rib. There are plenty of vego, vegan and gluten-free options too, and if you're extra hungry, you can try the Big Clucking Parmi Challenge—a whopping 1.7kgs of chicken parmis with fries and a house salad. 

Even better, like its Newstead sibling, Portside Social will be home to stellar lineup of weekly events. Grab the crew for trivia nights, drag bingo Thursdays, weekend bottomless brunches and live music sessions from Friday through to Sunday. The relaxed atmosphere means you can join Portside Social no matter the occasion.
