Literally a sip up from the rest, Brisbane City’s latest cafe and events space is reaching new levels—perched at the top of 157 Ann Street. Pairing top-notch brews and pastries with 180-degree skyline views, RAISE Rooftop invites you to go high and lay low. 

The New York-style rooftop cafe is the place to be during the day for sun-kissed sips of Coffee Supreme, cult-favourites from I Heart Brownies and daily artisan pastries from West End’s Banette. By night, the terrace transforms into whatever you need it to be—serving as a versatile venue for corporate functions, workshops, launch parties and milestone celebrations for up to 60 guests. 

“I fell in love with this space the moment I stepped out of the lift—I saw the potential to create a really unique experience up here with all this beautiful sky, fresh air and a blank canvas to work with,” said co-founder Laura Campion who is part of the award-winning duo behind RAISE, alongside Alex Afflick.  “In the CBD, it’s easy to keep your head down, eyes on your phone and headphones in while you mentally run through your never ending to-do list. RAISE is about creating opportunities to open up in a relaxed, unpretentious environment.”

“We wanted to see if we could create a neighbourhood vibe in the city—a place where people know each other's name, smile and say hi. In our opening week, two guys who have worked on the same floor for four years, met here for the first time. It’s about creating moments of ease.”
