Rise Bakery is one of the Gold Coast’s best bakeries, having opened in early 2022 and quickly garnering a loyal following—and now it has come to Brisbane. Landing at Portside Wharf in Hamilton, this next-level French pastry emporium is dishing out French classics such as pain au chocolat, baguettes and—of course—absolutely cracking croissants, alongside a selection of danishes, slices, quiches and other moreish baked goods. 

Not just a grab and go spot, you can scoff your treats in a cosy indoor dining space or on the alfresco terrasse, with an elegant French-inspired fit out featuring dreamy whites, soft pinks and accents of gold, designed by Clui Design and built by Lowry Group. It’s not just tea and coffee you can pair with your chosen treats either—a champagne bar is pouring bubbles by the glass, and you can even opt for a tasting menu that matches different champagnes with patisserie items. Bubbles and croissants? We’re in.
