There’s no doubt about it—we here in Brisbane love our Korean fried chicken. But the latest addition to the KFC scene isn’t just dishing up crispy wings and legs, they’re also dishing up one of the most carb-heavy, drool-worthy feeds we’ve ever seen. We give you, the carbonara bread bowl with whole fried chicken, a round loaf of bread filled with creamy carbonara pasta and topped with crispy chicken pieces. Holy moly.
If you’re not into such an intense dish (we get it), the new Everton Park eatery has plenty more on the menu to tempt your taste buds, from fried chicken in flavours like original, sweet chilli, garlic soy and snow cheese, which all come served with a side of fries, to flavoursome stir-fries, rice bowls and noodles if you’re looking for something a little healthier. If not, there’s also a range of fried chicken burgers and sides such as onion rings, spring rolls and fried fish cakes to snack on.
The casual restaurant tucked away in Everton Plaza’s laneway has plenty of seating to dine in, where you can pair your feed with a beer, but they’re also offering takeaway.
