Siffredi’s
Siffredi’s is a cheeky spaghetti bar from three ex-Stokehouse team members—one of whom was Ollie Hansford, the executive chef, so you know you can expect good things. Behind the bar, a pink neon sign beckons you in from Vernon Terrace, with quirky prints on the walls and seating inside by the bar or out on the breezy deck.
On the decidedly un-Italian menu are five spaghettis and four snacks, but don’t settle on a favourite, because though there are two or three signature dishes, the rest of the menu will change on an almost weekly basis. As for what you’ll be drinking, the ever-rotating wine list is full of Australian and international gems, though if you want something special you can ask for the reserve wines. There's also a handful of beers plus a rosé spritz and espresso martini on tap, with just a couple of classic Italian cocktails to sip—a negroni, Americano and Aperol spritz.
