The Verdict
Slack's Track Cafe is the newest venture from the peeps behind 85 Miskin Street. The freshly opened venue is serving up breakfast and lunch on Logan Road in Mount Gravatt. The cafe's moniker came from the area's history; Slack's Track got its name from settler William Slack #TheMoreYouKnow.
With Toby's Estate coffee on tap, and a menu that oozes with deliciousness, this new spot is set to be epic. The preserved truffle and grilled three cheese on toast is the stuff we dream about, and the nutella crepes are, in a word, epic. Plus, the lunch menu includes a beef cheek sandwich that we're lusting after, and the mysteriously titled Brett's mushroom cappuccino. You're going to want to check this place out, trust us.
