The crew behind Lina’s Rooftop have brought yet another rooftop destination to Brisbane’s inner city with Soko Rooftop. Taking over the very top level of Jubilee Place, the stunning glass building that has risen up above the Jubilee Hotel on St Paul’s Terrace, Soko is a lavish, greenery-adorned space full of unexpected surprises.
With a food menu that combines Peruvian and Japanese influences, bites on offer include everything from ceviche and empanadas to yakitori and maki sushi rolls, while the cocktail list features no less than 40 different variations of pisco sours, an iconic South American cocktail. Piscos aren't the only thing with options—that ceviche comes in nine different styles.
For something a little different, every Sunday from 4pm-7pm you can feast on their new Sush and Samba Maki Boat. Loaded with a selection of maki rolls, nigiri, wasabi tobiko caviar and steamed whole edamame with hakata salt, it also comes with two saké-based cocktails for $130. Best enjoyed somewhere you can see the sun set over the city skyline.
