Meat lovers, gather round; magicians of the humble bbq smoker, Special Rub in Coorparoo have got ALL your meat cravings covered.
So, what makes Special Rub so, er, special? They only use Australian ironbark to smoke their tender, premium BBQ’d meat—meaning no gas, electric or pellet smokers (also meaning it tastes out-of-this-world delicious!). Whether you're after slow-cooked ribs, tender AF pulled pork, or just fried chicken cooked to golden perfection, Special Rub needs to be at the top of your list. Oh, and they have a choice selection of brews on tap if your thirst needs quenching. Actual perfection if you ask us.
Located in the southside foodie haunt that is Coorparoo Square, you must must must try their smoked meat which (much to our approval) comes in a burger. Heaven...
