HSW is all about the pop-ups these days. First there was Ciao Papi, now a permanent resident, and then La Mexicana arrived with margs and guacamole on lock. Now, there’s Spuntini, an Italian-inspired aperitif bar for bulk Aperol spritzes and plates of antipasti.
Landing at the outdoor Rivershed Bar on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, it’s just the spot to spend an afternoon sipping vino while you enjoy the sounds of Italo disco played by some of Brisbane’s best DJs. On the menu, you 'll find the likes of provolone and thyme arancini; spanner crab, fennel and chilli bruschetta; zucchini flowers with ricotta and almond aioli; and thin and crispy pizzas—all perfect for eating one handed while you make the most of the apertivo cocktail menu.
