Not content with just being one of Brisbane’s best places to dine, Stanley is also aiming to be your new favourite spot for a cocktail with the launch of Stan's. Taking over the Howard Smith Wharves restaurant’s second level, this sleek, moody lounge bar is serving up expertly crafted cocktails with a fresh twist as well as rare spirits sourced from across the globe. 

Head up the staircase and through the double doors and you’ll find yourself leaving the Wharves signature sun-drenched, al fresco setting far behind, swapping it for a luxe, dimly-lit space inspired by old world Hong Kong. Featuring plush lounge seating, a timber and antique mirrored back bar, velvet curtains and a vintage JBL sound system (audiophiles will understand), there’s even a private lounge behind the bar for intimate soirees, and DJs will be spinning vinyl most nights of the week.

Once you’ve found yourself a cosy corner, you can order something from the list of signature martinis, daiquiris and other classic cocktails given modern interpretations. While you sip, nibble on Executive Chef Louis Tikaram’s menu of sophisticated Cantonese bites, which features the likes of rolled Peking duck pancakes, sandcrab cigars, steamed lobster and truffle dumplings and boujee prawn toast.
