The Ballpark

Whether you’re a fan of baseball or just like the idea of hitting balls really hard with a wooden bat, The Ballpark could be for you. This baseball-themed sports bar at Portside Wharf brings us Australia’s first virtual baseball experience. With actual batting cages complete with real bats and balls, you can test your skills thwacking balls into a virtual field of your choosing. The full game simulation tracks your speed, distance, direction and more, so get ready to verse your friends or just try and beat your highscore. 

Not particularly skilled with a bat? There’s also pool tables, dart boards and big screen TVs broadcasting major sporting events. Bring along your pals as you try The Ballpark’s very own lager, other beers on tap or classic cocktails. Coffee more your vibe? No worries. The onsite Short Stop Cafe serves 7 Miles coffee, delicious bagels, smoothies and more until 3pm each day. 

Even better, you'll soon be able to order burgers and bites from Portside Wharf's new burger spot, Dumbo, when it opens in the coming weeks. Basically, The Ballpark is the perfect spot for any group gathering or event, from your birthday parties to work team-building afternoons.
