Stafford’s The Colour Nine café is a foodie haven on the north-side dedicated to healthy breakfasts, great Beancraft coffee and some of Brisbane’s best desserts.
Dishing up healthy meals that are as tasty as they are ‘grammable, Stafford Heights has a real crowd pleaser. The Colour Nine has all the sophisticated trimmings like natural wooden tables, exposed light fittings and plush window seats. Outside, we love the relaxed feel where you can admire the doggos while you catch the breeze under the umbrellas.
This north-side fave can impress the hard-to-please food snob (hello hot smoked salmon breakfast salad) or charm the friend who refuses vegies (think: slabs of bacon and southern-fried chicken). The weekend specials are something pretty spectacular, too. Keeping the locals on their toes, The Colour Nine interchanges light Vietnamese chicken noodle salads with mac and cheese jaffles!
We love the Buddha bowls that are loaded with wholesome goodness like the cinnamon sweet potato, haloumi, avocado and baby beets dished up with brown rice and quinoa. Indulge in the Kali hot chocolate and get their legendary dessert specials like the chocolate mud cake with salted dulce de leche and marshmallow meringue.
