The Garden Room
The Verdict
Say hello to Brisbane's most picturesque new eatery—The Garden Room. Nestled comfortably in the lush greenery of Roma Street Parklands, The Garden Room’s light-filled pavillion combines cottage garden vibes with luxe interiors and a menu of delicious brunch eats. Inspired by the surrounding greenery, the cafe is a Pinterest lover's dream—think high ceilings criss-crossed with wooden beams, plenty of hanging greenery and Hamptons-inspired decor, with picnic tables outside to take advantage of the fresh air, making it the perfect leafy retreat to escape the concrete jungle and tuck into an epic feed, or pick up a snack to eat in the parklands.
Along with smooth Toby's Estate coffee, stars of their breakfast menu include locally baked sourdough with fresh Parkland honeycomb, organic oat and chia breakfast pudding, frozen pitaya smoothie bowls and our absolute weakness, cinnamon dusted doughnuts with a side of sizzling bacon, topped with caffeinated-maple syrup. Yes, they did just make maple syrup even better. Lunchtime feeds include pulled lamb shoulder pita pockets and Vietnamese rice noodle salads, along with a selection of light afternoon bites like cheeseboards, arancini balls and wings.
