Brisbane’s future is looking crystal clear—and it’s hosting your next event. Glo House is Brisbane’s first and only fully transparent event space, coming to Roma Street Parkland in October 2025. The glass pavilion is set to redefine our city’s event landscape with a bold new take on beauty and atmosphere. Designed by creative powerhouses Pete Cunningham (whose credits include reality TV royalty like Married at First Sight, Vanderpump Rules, and The Real Housewives) and Anthony Ikin (a former soloist dancer at the Moulin Rouge in Paris, and director of major global productions including the 2018 Commonwealth Games closing ceremony), Glo House looks to fill a gap in Brisbane’s event landscape—embodying the stunning overlap between a luxe conservatory and a floating greenhouse.
“[We] wanted to offer a truly elevated event space in Brisbane that feels both natural and iconic,” said Ikin. “This is a venue for people who want their event to feel like a movie moment, and provides another notch in Brisbane’s belt to cement us as a world city ahead of the 2032 Olympics.”
Taking full advantage of its prime position in Roma Street Parklands’ lush gardens and sprawling lawns, Glo House offers sun-drenched garden views by day and transforms into a cinematic escape by night. “Every inch of the Glo House has been designed for flow, beauty and wow-factor,” said Cunningham. “It’s premium, it’s unique, and it gives you the backdrop of nature without compromising on comfort or style.”
With capacity for up to 400 guests, climate control year-round, built in AV and sound, and a high-spec finish throughout, Glo House is expected to become Brisbane’s go-to for unforgettable events—from fashion shows to galas, upscale weddings, and milestone birthdays.
