The Details
The heritage-listed industrial site that was previously home to Rivermakers has a new team at the helm, who have transformed it into The Hills Of Rivermakers, an expansive, multi-faceted hub of dining venues, entertainment and event spaces. Potentia Solutions Leisure, who you might know from venues like Lina, Soko, Carmen, Claw and Azteca, are the crew that have pulled off the epic transformation, which they are finally ready to unveil to the world.
Spread out over 30 acres along the river in Morningside, the precinct includes an old acetate lime factory which has been stunningly restored and now houses several new dining destinations, including a pizzeria, winery, gelato bar, fish and chip spot, roastery and coffee house, bakery and brewery, with a providore to come in early 2025. Whatever you choose to dine on at whatever time of day, you can enjoy your feast indoors or out in the open-air seating areas and lawn spaces.
Not just a new dining and leisure destination, The Hills Of Rivermakers is also destined to be a family favourite, with a pop-up educational farm onsite where the kids can meet alpacas, rabbits, guinea pigs and more. There’s also plenty of grassy areas for running and roaming—essential for parents wanting to enjoy a meal in peace.
For now, you can head in for breakfast or lunch from 7am, with more hours and spaces coming soon. We’ll be taking a look inside shortly, so stay tuned for more details on what to expect.
