The Verdict
The Hope & Anchor is latest venture from Jamie Webb, the man behind adored Brisbane watering holes Lefty's and Sonny's, and Spanish bar and eatery Gordita, and, more recently, Ginger's Diner.
Operating out of the space formerly home to The Lark, The Hope & Anchor is, perhaps unsurprisingly, working a nautical theme, the aim being to create a familiar neighbourhood nook akin to the seaside English pubs from which it takes its cue. Now open and loving you senseless.
