The Verdict
It’s not often you stumble across a cocktail bar hidden within a heritage listed building round these parts, but that’s exactly where you’ll find Brisbane bar, The Kitty.
Housed inside the historic Treasury building, The Kitty boasts sweeping river views and a whole lot of attitude; picture champagne on ice, classic cocktails paired with incredible river vistas, and you’re already half way there. There’s also a bevy of frosty beers on tap from local and international favourites.
As with any good watering hole, you better believe there is a kitchen serving up delicious food to pair with that drink of yours. Decked out cheese platters, cheesy sliders, BBQ pork buns, and rice paper rolls are all on the menu at The Kitty.
The space itself is absolutely gorgeous, too. Think high ceilings, dark oak features, and wide bay windows with killer views. The luxe space is also home to local DJs and plenty of good vibes. The Kitty ticks all the boxes if you’re after a Brisbane bar that’s a little bit classy.
