Step inside The Long Road in New Farm, and you'll feel instantly transported to a restaurant in Europe. Located in a converted workers cottage, The Long Road oozes old-world charm and class not seen in the likes of The Valley for a while now.

The Long Road dishes up gorgeous European-inspired fare; from decadent cheese and charcuterie plates, to classical dishes of duck breast and monk fish, not to mention their signature dessert—a classic cherry crumble—, it's a refreshingly refined menu for us foodie types.

Their drinks menu is equally impressive with a well edited range of French, Spanish and a few Portuguese wines, plus a great selection of heady cocktails, perfect for people watching on the front deck.

The best part? They're open late—as in real life late. We like!
