Harry Potter fans, it’s time for a roadtrip to Samford Village, because the creators of The Store Of Requirement have added a themed cafe to their offering—and it’s a must-visit.
Opening up right next door in the old church that used to be home to The Flying Nun, The Owlery Cafe is decked out in everything you would expect from a magical eatery, including—as the name would suggest—hundreds of owls. Even the bathrooms are in keeping with the theme, so make sure you duck to the loo while you’re there.
For now, the menu only features a selection of light bites like toasted sandwiches, cakes and sweet treats that hint to Harry Potter references, which can be paired with smooth coffees and other drinks and enjoyed in the lounge or outdoors in an alfresco area. And of course, you can still get a Butterscotch Brew and a chocolate frog at The Store of Requirement—what else would a budding wizard eat and drink?
