The Wheat House

Craving something to satisfy your sweet tooth? Look no further than The Wheat House, an Asian-style bakery filled with delectable sweet and savoury pastries and bread. Located in the heart of Runcorn, the newly opened bakery serves up an assortment of delicious breads and toasts, including ham and cheese toast, tuna toast and a range of Asian centric breads.  However, the real winner to get your hands on are their cubed croissants. 

These croissants are not only photogenically appealing with their iced top and crispy outer layer, they also include a fluffy filling which oozes flavour as you rip it open. Again, there are an abundance of classic flavours such as chocolate, strawberry and caramel, as well as Asian favourites taro and matcha. The cubes are perfect for one or to share between two with a satisfying balance of flavour and sweetness.

And it gets better. Most of their products are super affordable and range between $5 and $6. You better get in quick though. There are lines out the door throughout the day for these mouth-watering treats and they are definitely not to be missed.
