The verdict

The Teneriffe branch of Chelmer’s Tocco Italiano promises to bring the taste of the heart of Italy to Florence Street.

Their kitchen is headed by none other than Pugliese chef Enzo Ninivaggi—the man responsible for the success of Bardolino’s La Veranda restaurant and their Michelin star. Understandably, Tocco’s offerings are suitably refined iterations of classic Italian dishes such as calamari fritti and burrata pugliese, as well as heftier pizzas fresh from the depths of their wood-fired oven.

If you’re after an authentic Italian feed, you can’t look past a night at Tocco.
