Looking for a boujee lunch before the races? Or just a relaxed gourmet dinner for you and your friends, perhaps? Well, either way, Ascot’s new Victory Lane has you sorted. After indulging in their menu filled with fresh and local produce, you will be walking out from Racecourse Road’s lush new dining spot feeling more than satisfied.

The open interiors here are the picture of relaxation and sophistication, with modern furnishings, high ceilings, white panelling, and plenty of natural light. The back half of the restaurant can be booked out for events or functions with your own private bar, or  you can snag yourself the sleek, all-black private dining room for an intimate meal.

Of course, the main talking point at Victory Lane is the food, whether you’re there for breakfast, lunch or dinner. In the PM, start your feast with the likes of smoked ham-hock croquettes, flamed salmon with ponzu and a creamy chicken parfait you can scoop up with brioche wafers. And just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, the stars of the show arrive at the table. Dig into mains such as 12-hour braised lamb that simply melts in your mouth or an angus bavette with BBQ glaze and nam jim jaew sauce, best paired with sides such as seasoned market greens, romaine salad or an airy potato mousse. If you somehow have room in your stomach, there’s dessert to finish off with too.

It wouldn’t be a fine dining experience without an extensive range of beer, wine and spirits, and Victory Lane definitely provides. Enjoy a diverse selection of bottled and tap beer, copious amounts of wine on offer, as well as a long list of cocktails for your sipping pleasure.
