White Horse Ranch

Bringing a little bit of country charm to Albany Creek, White Horse Ranch is part cafe, part gift store, and already has locals frothing over their brunch offerings just a few weeks after opening. Named for the farmhouse vibes that inspired the airy, boho interiors, you'll find ample seating inside and out (and yes, the porch is dog-friendly), with a corner of the inside space dedicated to a range of cute and quirky locally made gifts and homewares. 

Once you've perused the shelves, take a seat and tuck into brunch dishes like potato rostis topped with fried egg and maple waffles loaded with peanut butter mousse, white choc brownie pieces, grilled bananas and ice cream, or a classic eggs benny or avo on toast. For lunch, things are a little more refined than at your usual suburban cafe, with plates like snapper poached in herb infused milk with new potatoes and grilled strip steak with sweet potato wedges—though there's a couple of pizzas on offer as well. While you feast, sip on coffees poured on Locale beans or one of the fresh juices and nutritious smoothies on offer. 

For now, the cafe is a daytime spot only, but there are plans to offer dinner on Friday and Saturday nights, so keep an eye out.
