Mornings in the CBD have just gotten a whole lot brighter because Yolk is opening a second location—bringing their signature rolls, freshly squeezed OJ and specialty coffee to the city.

Yolk is the golden eatery from the team behind Morning After and PingPong that’s built a very loyal following since opening in Newstead way back in 2019. Taking the humble bacon and egg roll and transforming it into a smashable bite you’ll want to return to again and again, you also can’t go past Yolk’s buttermilk chicken strips and truffle hash browns. Just ask our editor; she’s a Yolk devotee who’s been getting their mushroom and egg roll for 5+ years (with hot BBQ sauce, of course).

The new store is impossible to miss with its vibrant yellow hues on Queen Street (fronting Creek Street) and officially opens on 13 April from 9am (after the opening day, they’ll be trading Monday to Friday from 7am). To celebrate, Yolk will be rolling out 300 free bacon and egg rolls on 20 April and 300 free coffees on 21 April. It’s first in, best dressed and trust us—they’re worth the wake up.
