The verdict

From their Brunswick Street digs, Yuzu & Co. is a local go-to for fresh, contemporary Japanese dining. Though replete with classic dishes like sushi rolls, gyoza and ramen, Yuzu & Co. also cranks up the creativity with stellar options like popcorn prawns and a neat selection of Japanese burgers—everyone knows to win the heart of Brisbanites is with a good burg.

On the latter, expect to see things like karaage, soft shell crabs and charcoal buns shaking up the fusion sid eof things. On the back bar is a fantastic selecion of sake, plum wines and local and imported wines and beers to get the party started. We suggest knocking back a few share dishes with some of Yuzu’s ice-cold plum wine and you’re onto a winner.
