Ability Fest Is Making An All-Electronic Return, With PNAU Set To Headline
Ability Fest is finally locked in for 2026, and with a new home and fresh format, it's looking like this could be the festival's best year yet.
As Australia's most inclusive music event, Ability Fest's mission is to prove that accessibility works in any space, and this year, that space is Port Melbourne's The Timber Yard.
Leaning into the venue's roots, the Ability Fest 2026 lineup is set to be all electronic; the 11 April event will see names including PNAU, Blusher, Logic1000 and Ollie Lishman take to the stage.
The 18+ event, founded by 2022 Australian of the Year and Paralympic gold medallist Dylan Alcott, is backed by the Victorian Government and presented in collaboration with triple j.

“Ability Fest has always been about proving that accessibility and incredible experiences aren't mutually exclusive, they're essential. We want to show that accessibility at large-scale festivals isn’t just possible, it's achievable,” Alcott says.
Designed with inclusion at every level, Ability Fest attendees can expect elevated viewing platforms, quiet zones, sensory areas, Auslan interpreters and live captioning. Accessibility infrastructure includes dedicated parking and pick-up and drop-off zones, accessible bathrooms and changing places, a designated assistance dog area, as well as navigation assistance via the Bindi Maps app. Companion tickets are also available free of of charge for carers.
"There's more than 5.5 million Australians living with disability, if we're not designing spaces with us in mind, we're exclusing more than one in five people from fully participating in our communities," Alcott says.
Ability Fest 2026 tickets sit at just $60, with 100% of the event’s proceeds heading to the Dylan Alcott Foundation, which supports young Australians living with disabilities.
