Will East Brunswick Village ever stop? The latest addition to the hub's smorgasbord of offering is hyped spot Dodam, bringing their fresh take on Korean home cooking and “janchi” celebration meals.
They’ve made premium comfort cuisine their specialty, with sharing and pairing sets ready for you and your soju-loving crew.
Hungry? Hit their signature Korean Meat Feast, a two-person platter with a choice of meat, including glistening pork jowl or soy-marinated beef ribs, with fresh veg, ssamjang dipping sauce and sides.
For something lighter, Sool-sang is a tapas-style selection of small bites served with house-made makgeolli—fermented rice wine—and shots of soju.
Choose your flavour of Korean Fried Chicken and pair it with SoMaeck (soju and beer), feast on Jeon pancakes and handmade mandu dumplings, or tuck into snacks and single-plate stir fries for solo diners.
Owners Jacky Kim, her husband Jin Jung and friend Mars Kim decked out this welcoming space with personal touches and an open kitchen for watching the wok and grill action.
Find Dodam at 2/7 Bluestone Way, Brunswick East. They're open for lunch from 11am-3pm and dinner from 5pm until late every day except for Wednesdays.
