This Chic French-Inspired Diner Is Hosting Hump Day Cheese And Wine Tastings

By Claryss Kuan

A cheesy toastie being torn apart.

Wednesdays just took a big leap up the rankings with Hemingway’s Wine Room's dedicated French wine and cheese evenings. Known for their curated wine list and chic European-based dishes, Hemingway’s celebration of the French fundamentals is a great way to ease your mid-week woes.

Take your pick from two delicious choices of French cheese, a fried Milawa Camembert topped with mustard fruits, or a truffled Milawa Brie stuffed with fig and cranberry coulis, served by the wedge.

There’s also an assortment of regional French wine that’ll be pouring throughout the evening, choose from a glass of NV Champagne Billecart-Salmon Brut Reserve, a 2018 Château de la Rolerie 'Le Petite' Chenin Blanc, or a 2015 Domaine de la Tour du Bief Beaujolais.

Sample all this cheesy French goodness every Wednesday from 5pm until 7pm. Cheese is served by the wedge at a modest $8 while the paired wines come in at a very friendly $15 a glass. Reserve your table here
