Cheese is truly one of the greatest wonders of the world. It comes in so many shapes, tastes, and is frequently over-indulged right before meals. If you fall into this culinary category pencil in Friday 2 to Sunday 4 June into the diary as Mould, A Cheese Festival is coming to town.
This four-hour tasting journey will showcase how the various crafting and ageing techniques of cheese lead to different flavours and sensations, and you’ll have free tastings of over 100 different types of cheese, with 27 different producers from cheese regions all over Australia. Your ticket also includes a spiffy cheese cooler bag so you can buy straight from the source to stash at home for later.

The four-hour sessions are a full-on fromage affair with ‘Cheese Chats’, a series of talks and masterclasses from makers, a steady range of food options and dishes from local chefs, and of course a well-equipped bar with plenty of Australian wine, whiskey, sake, and beers to assist you as you go from slice to slice.
Running from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 June at The Timber Yard In Port Melbourne, tickets are on sale now and start at $40, but that includes countless cheese tastings so it’s a small price to pay. Grab your
tickets here.
