South Melbourne is about to score a serious new wellness flex with the arrival of Saint Black, the latest offering from the Gurner Group responsible for the city's most elite members-only gyms.
Opening in July, the sprawling three-level club will bring a mix of high-performance training, recovery, co-working, and after-dark socialising to one slick rooftop address. Think rooftop pool, barrel saunas, and ice baths overlooking the city skyline by day, shifting into a moody, high-energy sanctuary by night.
There’ll be over 200 weekly classes, covering everything from reformer pilates to breathwork and strength, plus state-of-the-art recovery tech like cryotherapy, red light therapy, hyperbaric oxygen chambers and IV therapy.
On the food and drink front, Saint Black will feature an organic wholefoods restaurant, a kava and adaptogen bar, and a private business club complete with co-working lounges and meeting rooms. Members can even access a bathhouse with 40-person saunas, ancient bathing rituals, and a rooftop terrace for yoga, social hangs, or just straight-up sunbaking (Melbourne weather permitting, OFC).
"SAINT is pumping from 6am through until 9pm and people can spend entire days and
nights in our club, combining training and recovery with business pursuits, nutrition and
socialising," founder Tim Gurner says.
The new South Melbourne club also introduces Sana, an upgraded membership tier offering even more elevated experiences on the rooftop level—including exclusive access to the club’s Fire & Ice sessions, a VIP lounge, and biohacking suites.
This club follows their OG St Kilda Location, which counts AFL stars and Olympians among its members, so you'll be in good company while taking care of yourself.
SAINT Black opens July 2025. Memberships are now open at saintprivateclub.com.au.
