May The Fourth Star Wars Celebrations Are Landing At Federation Square This Weekend

It's been a real jump to light-speed between events but #MayThe4thBeWithYou is back for 2021, and the celebrations for the Star Wars universe are about to begin. With the iconic date landing on a weekday this year, the galactic conference will be happening on Sunday 2 May at the rebel base stronghold of Federation Square.

Inviting all walks of Star Wars lore from Anakin to Ewoks and everything in between, this force-filled day of activities has something for both the Jedi and the dark side.

There’ll be a life-size TIE-fighter, a Jedi Experience academy, where aspiring padawans train in the ways of the force, and a prized cosplay competition. Disney will also be bringing exclusive activations and photo opportunities for their new series release ‘Star Wars: The Bad Batch’.

Along with pop-up stalls from Zing with exclusive new drops, the Crepes for Change Food Truck, and a Star Wars-based menu on rotation at the Transport Restaurant, there’s plenty to swing a light-saber at.

May The Fourth Be With You All.

When: 9am until 4pm, Sunday 2 May
Where: Federation Square, Swanston Street & Flinders Street, Melbourne
