We've all got a bit of spare time on our hands. And there's no better way to spend that time than expanding your knowledge.

The State Library—like Melbourne's other cultural institutions—is closed right now, but that doesn't mean you can't access the riches held within its walls right from your computer.

The library has more than 19,000 non-fiction Ebooks available at your fingertips along with a range of journals and articles, and music also available for streaming.

SLV also has an array of amazing online galleries where you can explore Melbourne's past, and their Ask A Librarian service is still in play, even though the librarians are working remotely. Ask a librarian a curly question here.

You'll need to support the library and become a member—it's free—you can sign up here.
