Despite Administration Scott Pickett’s Audrey’s Rebrand Ember Set To Go Ahead

Two-hatted fine diner Audrey’s in Sorrento is gearing up for a glow-up, rebranding as Ember as the Scott Pickett Group brings in administrators to reset and refresh the business.

Out with the old and in with the new,  Ember will (fittingly enough) feature smoky charred flavours in a fire-driven kitchen, bringing a new edge to an earlier Audrey vibe.

Seeing a revamp alongside Ember, CeeCees (formerly known as The Atrium) will offer a more casual affair aimed at the beachside diners looking for something a little more laid-back.

Headlining Ember’s kitchen, Chief Operating Officer of Kickon Group, Jake Furst, brings about a fresh new menu inspired by the coastal Sorrento vibes—of course, in collaboration with Scott Pickett, overseeing the direction of The Conti’s palate.

“Audrey’s set the benchmark for coastal dining, and Ember builds on that legacy with a fresh, fire-led approach. I’m excited to champion Mornington Peninsula’s incredible growers and create something truly unique for Sorrento,” Furst says.

Opened in 2022, Audrey’s offered renowned seafood in a distinct beach-cross-farm dining space, winning the restaurant two major titles, Best Metro Pub Restaurant at the 2024 Australian Hotels Association (AHA) Awards.

Urban List is told that despite the administration shake-up, other Scott Pickett restaurants, including Estelle, Matilda 159 and Smith St Bistrot (among others), will continue to operate as usual.
