Visit Victoria is bringing back the Wine Down Pop Up luxury hotels in some of Victoria’s most beautiful wineries. You can sip the night away before retreating to the comfort of your very own luxury pod right on the edge of the vines.
These eco-accommodation pods are being set up at two of our most beloved wine regions—Mornington Peninsula and Rutherglen. The beautiful sister estates Montalto and Tuck’s Ridge will be the lucky custodians for the Mornington region, while All Saints Estate will be hosting in Rutherglen. Each pod has been designed by Contained and will be available for a limited time, so make sure you get in quick.
There will be no skimping on the luxury features in these high-end, bespoke rooms. Each one includes a queen size bed, a private luxe bathroom with Australian bathroom products, complimentary T2 tea, Pod & Parcel coffee, continental breakfast using local produce and a bottle of the respective winery’s finest. Each room also has floor-to-ceiling bi-fold doors which open out onto a private deck, so you can take in those vino vistas from dawn until dusk. You’ll also get your own private pizza oven and be treated to dinner at your choice of the estates’ restaurants. Sounds bougie enough to us.
At the Montalto and Tuck’s Ridge locations, guests can peruse the sculpture park before dining at either the al-fresco Piazza Restaurant or the more formal Montalto Restaurant. Either way, the views are stunning and you’ll be tasting the best of the property’s culinary offerings using ingredients from the on-site garden. In Rutherglen, the family-owned All Saints Estate provides the ultimate foodie retreat. You can go for a bike ride or indulge in a picnic by the pond. The Brown family will be on hand to lend advice and take you on a behind-the-scenes tour of the vineyard, including a tasting in the barrel room and a three-course lunch at the Terrace Restaurant—yes please.
Bookings are available now so don’t wait around, these stays almost capped out last time. Montalto and Tuck’s Ridge will be available from 29 March to 26 April, and All Saints Estate will be available from 5 May to 2 June. Book your stay here.
