The Verdict
BlendCo started from humble beginnings—a festival food truck slinging health bowls to hungry hippies. Then came the Hawthorn cafe. The business grew, more and more people learned the value of acai. Yep, the superfood specialists have proved the blend bowl is here to stay.
This is the brand's second big bricks and mortar expansion. Nestled amongst The Wharf Club, BlendCo Yarra’s Edge promises top-notch riverside views and a range of delicious brekky, brunch and lunch options to tempt the Dockland fitness freaks (sorry, motivated individuals).
The plan at the moment is a year-long popup. And, like Blendco Hawthorn, the menu is built mostly around bowls. Raw, gluten and dairy free bowls. There's also a great range of wraps and veggie burgers, cold-pressed juices and superfood protein bowls. Perfect pre or post-workout fuel.
And the fit-out? Bathed in natural sunlight and chrome beams, the mix of industrial and earthy screams modern day #fitspo. Summer is knocking friends, we strongly suggest swapping your go-to quick fix with a blend-able riverside snack from this health food hub. Pondering wellness over a beetroot brownie overlooking the Yarra has never felt so right.
