Two years after opening their second location in Malvern, the cult-followed charcoal chicken shop continues to expand its dynasty with their third location opening soon along Glen Huntly Road.

We spotted Chargrill Charlie’s signature chicken logo resurrect above the former-Aviv shop front early last week, and the team have since updated their website with a coming soon placeholder for the Elsternwick outpost.

Chargrill Charlie is the family-run chicken specialists that have been in the game since ‘89. Despite expanding to over 19 stores across Sydney and Melbourne, the shop maintains its homely family feel with its recognisable red and yellow colours.

A menu isn’t confirmed just yet, but we’re expecting a spread loaded with all the usual super-succulent charcoal chicken options: whole and half-cut, thick burgers, zest salads, and roast veg.
