THE LATEST
From the guys who brought you the Prahran Hotel, Bridge Hotel and many others, Garden State Hotel is where all the hype’s at in the Melbourne CBD.
Housing 840 people, Garden State Hotel is a four-level venue. A multi-levelled beer garden is the place’s defining feature, but this ain’t just any beer garden. There’s lush greenery and enormous trees that will tower within the venue.
The ground level will feature a traditional public bar, and you’ll get to nab a view of bustling Flinders Lane. There’s booths, a double-sided fireplace to keep you cosy, and toasted sandwiches are being served up. The best bit? They guarantee you won’t have to wait longer than 6 minutes!
The rear of the beer garden is for those who like things a little more sophisticated. There’s a New York style grill, and a raw bar to keep you busy. Did someone say freshly shucked oysters and ceviche? The basement’s Rose Garden Saloon provides a more intimate setting for the cocktail lovers, and is serving up lunch and dinner from the Garden Grill.
The first level, is a little more exclusive. There’s a dining room space for 18 people with set menus (oooo, fancy!). While the top level is the perfect function space—there’s some ace rooftop views of Melbs.
With four levels of fun, Garden State Hotel is basically a wonderland for grown-ups. It’s the perfect place to indulge in a feast, or to get sloshed with your pals. Are you as pumped as we are?
