We said it once but we’ll say it again—we’re not sure when Saul’s will stop opening new stores, but we’re absolutely not complaining if we saw that iconic logo on a corner of every Melbourne suburb. So you can imagine our joy when we spotted ‘Coming Soon’ posters plastered across a soon-to-be shopfront in Elsternwick. 

Famed for quality sangas that we reckon are some of Melbourne’s best, Glen Huntly Road marks Saul’s seventh joint to the ever-expanding empire.

They tend to roll with an all-day breakfast menu, loaded with brekky muffins, thick toasties, plus all the Saul’s Classic chunky sandos. Word on the street is that steak frites is most likely making an appearance, and the team will be slinging free coffee to celebrate the opening.

The new location falls under the mega eight-level development by Balmain & Co on the corner of Orrong Road and Glen Huntly Road that, in addition to the 22 apartments and four office spaces, comes six retail tenancies. Other names that have snatched up the new stores include Woodfrog Bakery and Daniel’s Donuts.
