The verdict

Located in Glen Waverley, The Black Toro has been a crowd favourite serving modern Mexican food for years. And now they’re stepping it up with a new location in Windsor.

So what can you expect from this new location? Well, apparently there will be more innovative menu items than the Glen Waverley joint, as well as a modern fit-out that will provide a fun casual backdrop to the meal.

But don’t worry, you can still enjoy all the classic The Black Toro dishes from ceviches, tostadas, tacos to more substantial mains dishes of bbq beef short ribs and crispy pork hock. New menu items are also accompanied by weekend boozy lunches (unlimited frozen margaritas, bloody marys and mimosas for $28pp from 12 pm to 6 pm), a different ‘Feed Me’ banquet option and an assortment of tantalising desserts (um, churro tacos, anyone?).
