Because as part of NZ Music Month, You & I Experience welcomes members of the public to engage in musical conversations, driven by the uniqueness of complete strangers, like you! Doc Edge Film Festival Opening Night | Q Theatre
The Oscar-qualifying Doc Edge Film Festival is here for 2017! They’ll be kicking off an absolutely stellar line-up in Auckland, with the Australasian premiere of ‘Whitney, Can I Be Me’. Be prepared to shed a few tears, as the film unravels an emotionally poignant and insightful story into the life of Whitney Houston–forever our WCW (Women Crush Wednesday)! Walk the red carpet, share bubbles with guests, directors and local creatives in the film industry, watch the Awards Ceremony and engage in a post-screening Q&A with the director, Nick Broomfield. On a mission to encourage and foster unexpected experiences in Auckland’s neighbourhoods; forming communities through fun, spontaneity and surprise, Pop brings you an instalment of Pop Ping Pong—now say that five times! Atomic Latte Art Throwdown | Atomic Coffee Roasters
Latte Art is a serious thing! And a throwdown is happening this Thursday at Atomic Coffee Roasters in Kingsland with $1000 up for grabs, plus spot prizes. Whether you’re a true coffee wiz in the biz or self-proclaimed barista, for this year only, anyone can enter, so why not, give it an (espresso) shot! The night also features a live DJ on deck, Brothers Beers and Six Barrel Soda Co. on the bevvys, and Guerilla Grill serving up their mouth-watering grilled cheese!
