5 Fabulous Things To Do In Auckland This Week

Is there any better start to a week than a public holiday? We think not! Let the fun of your day off roll out through your week with these fabulous things to do in Auckland.

Monday 23 October

Mission Bay Art & Craft Market

It’s one of Aucklanders favourite beaches, and for good reason! With its picturesque fountain, sandy shores and spectacular views of Rangitoto—and let’s not forget the fabulous eateries—Mission Bay is the perfect place to head on your Labour Day in Auckland. Even better, the Mission Bay Art & Craft Market will be selling all the arts, crafts and gourmet food you could wish for. Time to start buying for Christmas? We think so!

Piha Labour Day Market

Beaches and markets are a match made in heaven! Head out West to our beautiful black sand beach, Piha, on Labour Day for their market day. Here you’ll find delicious food, coffee, second-hand items, arts and crafts and vintage treasures. When you’re done, air out those winter cobwebs with a walk along the beach.

Tuesday 24 October

The Chainsmokers

Head along to Spark Arena on Tuesday evening for the sound and spectacular show that is The Chainsmokers. This Grammy Award-winning band will rock out their faves including Closer, Paris and Something Just Like This. This is one not to be missed!

Wednesday 25 October

The Dunstan Creek Haunting

Just in time for the spookiest day of the year, comes the spine-chilling, horror performance that is The Dunstan Creek Haunting. Held at The Herald Theatre, it runs from October 24 to 30 and showcases tales of terror from New Zealand’s dark past. It tells the story of two travelling carnies with an obsession with the occult who find that their shows aren’t going as well as they usually are. Perhaps there’s something that is following them? Perhaps they’re in the theatre? Freakkkkyyyy….

Thursday 26 October

Cook Like A Vegan Masterchef

Want to embrace the vegan trend? Now’s your chance! Head along to Wise Cicada this Thursday for a two-hour class focused on plant-based cooking, conversation and shared inspiration. Not only will you be filled with inspo, but you’ll also get recipes to take home to try later!
