Inside Dali: The Epic Multi-Sensory Digital Exhibition Has Just Extended Its Auckland Run

By Armelle Frimpong

A next-level digital exhibition about the godfather of surrealism Salvador Dali has arrived in New Zealand, direct from electrifying audiences in Florence, Italy. Following on from the stunning success of last year’s immersive Van Gogh Alive, Kiwis will be the first in the Southern Hemisphere to experience Dali’s work through cutting-edge technology, imagery, real objects and illusions.

Whether you’re new to the Spanish artist’s work and want to know what all the fuss is about or you’ve been low-key obsessed for years like us, Inside Dali will answer all the questions you never even knew you had. And let’s be honest, anyone who had a swimming pool shaped like part of the male anatomy is definitely worth getting to know.

You’ll take a chronological trip through Dali’s life in pictures and deep dive into his most seminal work in the Divine Comedy Room with floor-to-ceiling high-resolution moving imagery of surrealist masterpieces and surround sound including real interviews with the artist himself. Complete with a Mirror Room where you’ll get to wander through his work in a 360-degree setting this exhibition is a must-see.

Live Nation New Zealand Managing Director, Mark Kneebone says: “We were blown away by how well Van Gogh Alive was received by Kiwis, so we’re delighted to be bringing this sensational multi-sensory exhibition to New Zealand audiences in 2022. Inside Dali is truly something special.”

Inside Dali has just extended its run at Spark Arena in Auckland so you have until Sunday, July 3 to wander through the surrealist artist's mind. This one is hot.
