Your Guide To What’s On In Perth This Weekend
We’ve got one last week of October sunshine, a very spooky Saturday, and a Sunday that delivers the real jump scare: November 1, aka the start of the second-last month of 2026.
Before we start wondering where the year went, Perth’s keeping us busy with everything from oysters and live music to bottomless brunches and local markets. Costumes at the ready, diaries out — here are the best things to do in Perth this week.

What's On Tuesday 27 October:
Turns out a picture really can be worth a thousand points. Pubble puts a visual spin on the pub quiz, swapping traditional trivia for image decoding, pattern spotting and riddles. Think escape room, minus the locked door; pub quiz, minus the encyclopaedic knowledge. It's happening at the Vic Park Hotel every Tuesday and entry is free, with prizes up for grabs throughout the night.
What's On Wednesday 28 October:
Jerry Fraser at Canteen Pizza
The only thing better than oysters for dinner is watching someone else do the hard work of shucking them for you. Each Wednesday, Legendary oyster king Jerry Fraser will be cracking open Leeuwin Coast’s award-winning Albany Rock Oysters at Canteen Pizza. Fresh from Albany’s Great Southern waters, these little beauties are back for the season, shucked before your eyes from 4pm.
Buck Wild Wednesdays at Yee-Haw Bar
Country goes clubbing at Perth’s first YEEDM night. Yee-Haw Bar is bringing a boiler room-style DJ setup and country-meets-club chaos to Northbridge every Wednesday from 10pm. DJs Tashnat, Jordan Gncspro and DJ AyT3 are on the decks, while a bucking bull stands by to put everyone’s riding skills to the test. Entry is $10, which scores a wristband for $8 drinks all night and a ride on the bull.
Wonderland: Maggie’s Wednesdays at Magnet House
Wednesday nights have been looking a liiiiittle too well-behaved. Thankfully, Maggie is back to put a stop to that. She’s reclaiming Magnet House for Wonderland, a weekly descent into technicolour debauchery, complete with towering toadstools, a giant glowing butterfly and a DJ booth dripping in custom visuals. Doors open at 9pm, with free guestlist entry or $5 at the door for the fashionably disorganised. Dress to devastate, dahlings. Maggie certainly will.
What's On Thursday 29 October:
Hilary Duff at RAC Arena
After making us wait more than two decades, Hilary Duff is finally answering our Y2K prayers, making her long-overdue Perth debut with her first-ever headline show in the city. If Lizzie McGuire raised you, Come Clean soundtracked your adolescence and A Cinderella Story remains cinematic perfection, this one's about to heal your inner tween.
What's On Friday 30 October:
Borda Pizza Pop-up at Morso Conti Shop
Freo’s latest culinary collaboration has some serious dough. Borda Pizza is popping up at Morso Conti Shop this Friday, bringing six Neapolitan-style pizzettas to the Piazza with 48-hour-fermented dough and toppings ranging from truffle cream and brown mushrooms to slow-cooked BBQ pork. All 10 inches, all made with quality ingredients. There’ll be good tunes, too, with the kiosk firing from 5pm.
What's On Saturday 31 October:
Halloween
Your alter ego has waited all year for this. The fake blood is calling, the costume group chat is spiralling, and Perth is gearing up for a Halloween Saturday packed with spooky goings-on. There are frights for the fearless, parties for the possessed and family-friendly fun for those whose idea of a horror show is getting the kids to bed, and we’ve put them all in one place. And a reminder: Halloween won’t land on a Saturday again until 2037, so best make this one count.
G Flip at 3 Oceans Winery
Margaret River: famous for its wine, its surf and, on 31 October, an extremely good opportunity to scream BED ON FIRE in a vineyard. G Flip is bringing their only WA headline show of the tour to 3 Oceans Winery, with indie favourites The Rions and Noongar singer-songwriter Boox Kid on the bill. It’s licensed and all-ages, so rally your mates, your siblings or the offspring who’ve commandeered your Spotify.
Old Mervs at Freo Art Centre
Old Mervs are going biiiiig for Halloween! The WA indie-rock duo are bringing their biggest tour yet to Fremantle Arts Centre this Saturday, celebrating sophomore album Carparks alongside the tracks that made them a fan favourite. With new tunes like 'She Said' joining the setlist, it’s a chance to catch Dave and Henry at the biggest they’ve ever been, right here on home turf.
Summer x Salt Markets at Clarko Reserve
A gentle reminder that Christmas shopping doesn’t have to happen under fluorescent lights in a shopping centre on Chrissy Eve. Summer X Salt is back for its 2026/27 season, taking over Clarko Reserve with a fresh crop of local makers. There’ll be food trucks, live music, free kids’ workshops and feel-good wellness sessions, plus beachy wares and thoughtful finds for that hard-to-buy-for person in your life (and a few prezzies for yourself, while you’re at it).
VIVA! Bottomless at Farra Terrace
Mediterranean brunch, with a little extra on the side. VIVA! Bottomless brings the flavours of the Med to Farra Terrace, from fresh-baked flatbreads and koulouri to baked eggs, seasonal pickles and Turkish-inspired breakfast bites. Teapot cocktails combine Herradura Tequila with pomegranate, sumac and lime, while a live DJ and a Beading Bar add a creative spin to the afternoon.
Breast Friends Lunch at Cottesloe Beach Hotel
There’s plenty to raise a glass to every weekend in October at the Cott. The seaside pub is adding a bit of purpose to your plans with the return of its Breast Friends Lunch, happening every Saturday throughout the month, with Executive Chef Steven Ryu serving up a two-course menu on The Terrace, plus a pink drinks menu and 15 percent of proceeds going to Breast Cancer Care WA.
What's On Sunday 1 November:
Walyalup Bridge Opening Markets at Mojo’s
New bridge, who dis? Fremantle’s shiny new $596 million river crossing is officially opening as Walyalup Bridge on Sunday 1 November, and you can be among the first to walk across it before traffic rolls through that evening. Make a morning of the occasion with a pit stop at Mojo’s, where a free market will be serving up handmade wares, vintage threads, bric-a-brac, art and oddities, plus vinyl to flick through and drinks from the bar. Markets run from 9am to midday, followed by free live music from 1pm, plus everyone’s favourite DJ Ningaloo Records behind the decks from 5pm.
Lily Allen at RAC Arena
Pop’s favourite pot-stirrer is back. Never one to mince her words, Lily Allen has spent the best part of two decades turning razor-sharp observations into ridiculously catchy (and deliciously scathing) songs, proving that honesty really is the best lyricist. Performing West End Girl from start to finish, expect all the wit, warmth and wicked humour she’s built her career on.
Spring Session at Cottesloe Beach Hotel
Cottesloe Beach Hotel is starting the silly season early with Spring Session, a supercharged edition of The Cott’s beloved Sunday sessions. Think cold drinks, sunshine, a sea breeze and plenty of room for the group to debrief the big dance by the water.
All Weekend:
Tigerfish is Serving Rottnest Island Crayfish and a Junmai Ginger Martini for just $35
Karaoke For A Cause at Tigerfish
Got a power ballad that needs belting, a pop anthem that deserves a full-blown performance, or a singing voice best kept among friends? Whatever your vocal credentials, Tigerfish’s secret karaoke room is putting those vocal cords to good use this October, with 100% of proceeds from every Fishbowl Karaoke session donated to Breast Cancer Care WA. Gather the backing singers, warm up those pipes and give the group chat a reason to book a night out for a good cause. And if you didn’t know Tigerfish had a secret karaoke room, well, now you do.
