Asia’s most influential dining list is changing scenery. For the first time ever, Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants will be revealed in Hong Kong this March, bringing the region’s top chefs, restaurateurs and food media together for a week-long celebration of all things delicious. The awards ceremony lands on 25 March 2026, when we’ll find out which restaurant takes the crown from Bangkok’s Gaggan, last year’s No.1.

For Singapore’s food-obsessed crowd, this is one to watch closely. Hong Kong is just a quick flight away, and the multi-day programme promises serious culinary FOMO (think chef-led talks, exclusive collaboration dinners, a feast spotlighting local ingredients and a front-row seat to where Asian dining is heading next). Expect plenty of crossover between Hong Kong’s heavyweight dining scene and familiar faces from Singapore’s own world-class restaurant circuit.

The rankings themselves are voted on by a 350-strong academy of industry experts across Asia and independently audited by Deloitte, making it one of the most closely watched barometers of dining excellence in the region. Ahead of the main event, the extended 51–100 list and a series of special awards will also be unveiled, shining a light on rising stars and boundary-pushing talent across Asia.

If you’re not hopping on a plane, don’t stress, the countdown will be broadcast live on YouTube, so Singapore food lovers can tune in from home (or the bar) as Asia’s best restaurants are revealed. One thing’s for sure: March 2026 is shaping up to be a big one for Asian dining, and we’ll be watching closely from this side of the causeway.
