What To Expect From Zouk Singapore’s Multi-Million-Dollar Refurbishment Ahead Of 35th Anniversary
Singapore nightlife institution Zouk Group has announced its biggest transformation yet, with a multi-million-dollar refurbishment set to roll out across its flagship club spaces at Clarke Quay from January 2026.
Timed ahead of Zouk’s 35th anniversary, the phased renovation will see major upgrades across Zouk Mainroom, Phuture, Capital and RedTail, with full completion targeted for June 2026. The overhaul marks a significant reinvestment in Singapore’s nightlife scene, with the club preparing for what it calls its boldest era of entertainment experiences yet.
According to Zouk Group, the transformation will focus on expanded capacity, state-of-the-art technology and more flexible, multi-format spaces. Zouk Mainroom will be reimagined with a fully modular layout, including movable acoustic walls that allow the space to adapt from intimate performances to large-scale events. Across the venue, all sound systems will be upgraded to concert-grade technology, alongside new Audio, Visual and Lighting (AVL) systems designed to support both DJ-led nights and live performances.

Design-wise, Zouk has appointed long-time creative collaborators Josh Held Design and lighting and AV studio Superlative, whose previous work on Zouk Tokyo helped shape the brand’s global expansion. Highlights of the renovation include a 12-metre-wide high-resolution LED wall, a redesigned main entrance for improved crowd flow, and a new premium VIP sofa experience positioned behind the DJ booth.
While nightlife remains the brand’s core, the revamped Zouk will also lean further into daytime, lifestyle and community-driven programming, with plans for live music, fashion pop-ups, wellness sessions, MICE events and creative networking activations. Post-renovation, the venue is expected to host up to 3,500 guests across its concepts, with Zouk projecting a 20% increase in foot traffic following the relaunch. The refurbishment is supported by a lease extension with CapitaLand.
