Tucked away on the sandy shores of Tanjong Beach, Tanjong Beach Club is a popular spot for people looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The beachside restaurant, bar and club has earned its spot among the world’s elite, clinching numerous best beach bar awards.

Taking its cue from retro beach clubs and mid-century modernism, it was designed to be the kind of dreamy beach house everyone wants to live in—complete with picturesque views and an outdoor pool of course.

With carefully crafted dishes that inspire an idyllic island getaway, the menu at Tanjong Beach Club makes the most of its beachfront location with plenty of seafood and fresh, wholesome dishes. Highlights include the Tanjong seafood platter, Tanjong salad and naked strawberry cake if you fancy something a little sweeter. The recently refreshed cocktail list features an array of tropical fruits and flavours from the region—the Malayan Mai Tai and tropical daiquiri are our favourites.

Tipsy Unicorn

Having only opened its doors a few months ago, Tipsy Unicorn has already proven itself worthy of a spot on our roundup of the best Sentosa beach clubs. With indoor and outdoor areas, private cabanas, daybeds and VIP lounges, you know Tipsy Unicorn isn’t playing around. Got the urge to unleash your inner party animal? It also happens to be the only Sentosa beach club to bring live bands to its shores, so expect state-of-the art staging, lighting and sound systems.

If you find yourself getting peckish while working on your tan, their beachside snacks are perfect for eating one handed (you’ll have a cocktail in the other obviously). We recommend the pork skewers, grilled corn and roasted cauliflower.

Splash Tribe

54 Palawan Beach Walk

Part of the new The Palawan @ Sentosa (a standalone lifestyle and entertainment precinct by the Shangri-La Group), Splash Tribe is a family-oriented beach club with a sandcastle-themed wet-play zone and an infinity pool right by the beach. Complete with poolside and in-water sun loungers as well as elaborate two-storey private gazebos, you’ll be able to soak up some sun while the kids have a splashing good time.

As for the food and drink, there’s a kids menu full of child-friendly dishes such as chicken nuggets, pizza and fish and chips. For mum and dad, you’ll find everything from sliders and salads to seafood and wraps. There’s also a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available but we recommend their signature tiki cocktails.

Originating in Bali and arriving on Singapore’s shores in 2019, Rumours Beach Club combines authentic Balinese charm with soulful seaside bliss. The only beach club in Sentosa to have three swimming pools and direct access to the beach, Rumours was designed for both adults and children—there’s even a dedicated pet friendly area for your four legged friends.

Offering a new menu featuring international and local flavours, you can expect dishes like Canadian pork ribs with sweet potato chips and Indonesian fried rice. If you want something on the lighter side, we are big fans of the grilled corn with parmesan and homemade chilli mayo as well as the spiced chicken skewers. The kids menu has all the usual suspects including pizza, fish fingers and a ham and cheese panini.

+Twelve

Also located within The Palawan @ Sentosa, +Twelve is a terraced beach club boasting 12 cabanas with private plunge pools and a main pool with a swim-up bar. Add to that top DJs, unparalleled views of the sea, a sophisticated menu of summer cuisine, along with expertly curated cocktails and you are in for the perfect Sentosa beach club experience.

For those of you with children, unfortunately +Twelve is a kid-free zone. You have to be at least 16 years old to enter.

FOC Sentosa is a Mediterranean restaurant and beach club inspired by Barcelona’s world-famous beach culture. Located at the east end of Palawan Beach, FOC Sentosa boasts an outdoor pool, al fresco dining terrace and plenty of picnic tables, beach cabanas and pool loungers for you to relax on while listening to some smooth beats with a sangria in hand.

Laidback vibes and excellent drinks aside, FOC Sentosa is worthy of a visit for the food alone. The menu, which was designed by Michelin star Chef Nandu Jubany, is packed with delicious Mediterranean dishes. You can expect plenty of fresh seafood, dry-aged meat cuts, paella and hot and cold tapas—the deep-fried Iberico ham croquettes and duck rillette served with pickles and toasted bread are a good choice.

Situated along a golden stretch of Sentosa’s Siloso Beach, Coastes is technically more of a beachside restaurant than a beach club, but with its rustic charm and casual, laid-back vibe it’s hard to beat. Although there’s no pool, there’s plenty of sunbeds and deck chairs available and with the salt water lapping at your toes, what more could you want?

The menu serves up a selection of hearty beach food including mouthwatering burgers, pizzas, pastas and fresh seafood. There’s also a selection of ice-cold beers, classic cocktails, house wines and non-alcoholic drinks available.

Once you’ve worked up an appetite, the menu showcases a fusion of international flavours, featuring fresh seafood, vibrant salads, and delectable snacks. We are big fans of the BBQ chicken pizza and watermelon and baby beetroot salad.

Ola

Ola, which is the Hawaiian word for life, good health and well-being, is Singapore’s only Hawaiian-themed lifestyle venue. With the same tiki-style vibes you would find in Waikiki, Ola is super family-friendly (that includes fur babies) and has an impressive food and drinks menu. You’ll find Hawaii-inspired dishes such as poke bowls, pulled pork and Hawaiian kebabs alongside smoothies, beer and one of the best mango daiquiris we’ve had in a long time.

Alongside its pool and beachfront location, Ola also offers a range of watersport activities (stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking and banana boat rides) should you feel the need to get up from your sun lounger at any point.
