It’s official, Banyan Group is coming home. The global hospitality brand, known for luxe stays and eco-conscious design, is celebrating its 100th resort opening right here in Singapore with the brand-new Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree. To mark the milestone, the group is throwing the Rainforest Festival, a week-long celebration from 27 November to 3 December 2025 filled with discovery trails, markets, and live performances all in support of the President’s Challenge, with every ticket dollar donated and matched.

Think of it as a nature-meets-lifestyle fest where the rainforest takes centre stage. Explore sustainable design and biodiversity through interactive installations and a self-guided Discovery Trail, complete with a living art piece where you can leave messages of hope. Stop by the Banyan Gallery Showcase for artisan crafts from around the world, and fuel your wanderings with locally inspired treats like Gryphon Tea’s exclusive blend, Owa Coffee’s forest-grown brews, and the nostalgic ice cream bread sandwich from Singapore’s classic carts.

The weekend line-up is shaping up to be a full-blown vibe. Expect a sustainable market by GREEN-HOUSE HangOut, featuring ten homegrown eco-conscious brands, and a Festival Stage spotlighting Singapore’s creative scene—from singer-songwriter Joie Tan and duo Jack & Rai to award-winning MICappella and the soulful Heart Songs by Gabrielle Mendoza. Sunday keeps things chill with Beans&Beats setting the tone for a lazy afternoon groove.

If you’re after some mindful movement, join Banyan Tree Spa’s wellbeing sessions, from handcrafted scrub workshops to yoga classes led by top practitioners. The highlight? A symbolic 100 Sun Salutations flow celebrating Banyan Group’s 100th milestone. Kids can get in on the action too with Rangers’ Club workshops and guided rainforest walks to learn about Singapore’s native wildlife.

Tickets are priced at S$10 on weekdays and S$15 on weekends, with free entry for children under four. For the full lowdown, visit the website here. Whether you’re a nature lover, spa junkie, or just looking for a wholesome weekend out, this is one festival that promises to give back.
