The Best Singapore Hotels With Bathtubs And Jacuzzis For A Relaxing Soak

By

Nothing spells relaxation quite like soaking in a steamy bath filled with soapy bubbles (with a glass of wine in hand, preferably). But given the compact size of bathrooms in most Singapore homes, bathtubs are not very common here. Thankfully, there are plenty of hotels in Singapore that come equipped with bathtubs and Jacuzzis so you can enjoy a relaxing soak during your next staycation (or Singapore holiday).

From free-standing bathtubs to Jacuzzis with city views, here are the best Singapore hotels with bathtubs and Jacuzzis.

80 Collyer Quay The Fullerton Bay Hotel

Part of The Fullerton Heritage precinct, The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore opened in 2010 with 100 rooms and suites. Located right on the waterfront, the hotel is built completely over water and its stunning glass façade, which was designed by Singapore-based DP Architects, was carefully thought out in response to its environment and the heritage buildings surrounding it.

All of the rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows, some with balconies, offering spectacular views of the Marina Bay waterfront and city skyline. The interior decor features touches of wood, leather and chrome, but it’s the flat-screen TV at the foot of each bathtub that got our seal of approval. If you're really looking to go all out, do yourself a favour and book the Premier Bay View Room with Jacuzzi. It's perfect for a pampering treat, paired with captivating views of the waterfront and city skyline.

1 The Knolls, Sentosa Island Capella Singapore

Capella is a luxury five-star property located at the heart of Sentosa and features a collection of lavish rooms, but our pick is the Constellation Room, where you can swap the city lights for a private rooftop jacuzzi. Move inside and you'll find a bathroom complete with bathtub, separate rainforest shower and two wash basins.

If that wasn't enough, each of their 38 villas come complete with a separate living area, one or two bedrooms and an outdoor terrace with private plunge pool.

1 Larkhill Road, Sentosa Island Amara Sanctuary Sentosa

Nestled on a hillside in Singapore’s premier island getaway, Amara Sanctuary Sentosa has recently undergone a stunning transformation. Paying homage to the island's maritime heritage as a former military fortress and the estate’s 100-year legacy, the redesign showcases a selection of natural materials, including indigenous stone, venerable timber and reclaimed wood upcycled from traditional fishing vessels.

If you're really looking to unwind, look no further than the Courtyard Suites. Each suite includes a luxurious king bed and a personal Jacuzzi pool within its own private courtyard for a taste of the good life. Alternatively, the Couple Suites boast direct access to Larkhill Terrace’s stunning 45 metre infinity edge pool, a spacious courtyard with frameless outdoor bathtub and day bed perfect for lounging.

5 Fraser Street Andaz Singapore

A concept hotel by the Hyatt group, the Andaz is a five-star hotel without the over-the-top price tag. The hotel interiors were designed by Andre Fu and feature warm russet and mustard tones and bespoke furniture.

The king bedrooms with views of the bay are worth the extra few dollars—think floor to ceiling windows, 42 square metres of space to stretch out in and even a daybed. Upgrade to a suite and enjoy an oversized bathroom with a deep soaking tub and stunning views.

320 Havelock Road The Warehouse Hotel

Singapore is home to many architectural gems and The Warehouse Hotel is definitely one of them. Restored to perfection, the building hails back to 1895, when secret societies, liquor distilleries and underground activity were rampant along the Singapore River.

You won’t be sorry for splurging on a River View Room which features features two levels, a reading library, and a view over the Singapore River. One of their largest rooms in the building, it has a set of stairs to go up the second level and ample historic industrial character, including original beams, windows, and a peaked ceiling. It is on the top floor of the building and is fitted with a king-sized bed and a very relaxing bathtub.

15 Stamford Road The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore

Spanning two heritage buildings in the City Hall area, The Capitol Kempinski Hotel is a testament to melding the old with the new—much like Singapore itself.

There is no better way to start your day than with a sumptuous breakfast on the glass-enclosed indoor balcony of the Heritage Room, while taking in the views of Singapore's Civic and Cultural districts. End your day in the free-standing, deep-soaking bathtub, topped with luxurious amenities from Salvatore Ferragamo.

1 Beach Road Raffles Singapore

Even if you’ve never been to Singapore, you’ve probably heard of Raffles. The building has recently undergone some hefty restoration work and it’s looking as beautiful as ever. Built in the 19th century, its walls have witnessed the antics of Charlie Chaplin, Elizabeth Taylor and Karl Lagerfeld, and it’s also the home of the delicious Singapore Sling—so it’d be rude not to order one of those.

A nostalgic tribute to the late 1800s when Raffles faced Singapore’s beachfront, the hotel's two Promenade Suites are nestled in the front-most corner of the main building, overlooking Beach Road. Each suite is named after a prominent female figure of her time in Singapore and features a parlour, dressing room, free-standing bathtub, and luxurious bedroom with a king bed.

41 Seah Street Naumi Hotel

Often hailed as one of the best design hotels in Asia, Naumi is a sky-high sanctuary that blends effortless luxury with grounding tranquillity. Each of the 73 rooms have been designed with artistic flair, but our favourite is Gabrielle & Camellia, a monochrome suite inspired by Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel which comes with a contemporary chic bathtub perfect for a relaxing soak.

Aside from the bath, one of the best things about this hotel has to be its Cloud 9 infinity pool and bar. You can sit back and relax with a cocktail in hand while catching some rays and enjoying the unobstructed view of Singapore’s skyline.

2 Gunner Lane, Sentosa Island The Barracks Hotel Sentosa

An ode to Old World charm, the rooms at this Sentosa hotel feature richly textured dark wood grains and leather-accented furnishings alongside modern luxurious white marble bathrooms.

The Premier Room with Pool Access is located on the ground floor and gives you direct access to a patio, the hotel's swimming pool, and a semi-private jacuzzi. The bathroom also features a delightful free-standing bathtub.

All rooms have been designed to highlight a range of natural materials, such as concrete and wood with touches of nature creeping in via outdoor bathrooms, skylights and private courtyards.

The Big Sky Room offers a touch of luxury without the hefty price tag. An outdoor bathtub basks in the open air, giving you your very own piece of the sky. The sleeping area features a luxurious king-sized bed, while the working area is separated for privacy and fitted with a bench and a working table.
