Big Disney energy has officially landed at Marina Bay. The Disney Adventure has arrived in Singapore in full fanfare (complete with a water salute and fireworks at Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore) marking the first time a Disney Cruise Line ship will homeport in Asia. Not just a quick stopover. Not a seasonal cameo. A proper, long-term stay.

The ship sets sail on her maiden voyage from Singapore on 10 March 2026, launching a lineup of three- and four-night sailings designed to be the ultimate easy escape. Think: no long-haul flight, no frantic airport dash, just board in the afternoon and wake up already in holiday mode. These voyages are crafted as immersive “days at sea” experiences, meaning the ship itself is the destination. And with this much going on onboard, you won’t miss land.

Drawing on more than 100 years of Disney storytelling across Disney, Pixar and Marvel, the Disney Adventure packs in seven themed areas, each with its own vibe. Expect Broadway-calibre entertainment, deck parties, character encounters and next-level stage productions—including “Remember,” a brand-new musical created exclusively for this ship. There’s also “Duffy and the Friend Ship,” plus high-energy Marvel experiences that bring superhero storylines to life in ways that feel more theme park than traditional cruise.

Thrill-seekers, this one’s for you: Ironcycle Test Run is officially the longest rollercoaster at sea. Yes, on a cruise ship. Pair that with sprawling family zones, dedicated kids’ clubs, and adults-only spaces where you can actually sip something sparkling in peace, and you’ve got a holiday that genuinely works for mixed-age groups.

Food-wise, Disney isn’t playing it safe. Alongside its signature international dining concepts and immersive, story-led restaurants, the Disney Adventure will feature regionally inspired dishes tailored to Asian guests—plus fun extras like bubble tea and innovative drinks. There’s also close to 17,000 square feet of retail therapy onboard, including fleet-first concepts like the World of Disney store, a National Geographic Store and a Duffy and Friends Shop stocked with exclusive merch you won’t find elsewhere.

And here’s why this is bigger than just one very impressive ship: the Disney Adventure will homeport in Singapore for five years, in partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board. With Singapore already welcoming more than two million cruise passengers last year, this move reinforces our status as Asia’s leading cruise hub and is set to drive serious fly-cruise traffic from around the region.

Bottom line? Whether you’re a Disney superfan, a parent plotting the ultimate school holiday surprise, or just someone who likes the idea of a short-haul escape with fireworks, fine dining and a rollercoaster thrown in, the Disney Adventure is about to be the hottest booking out of Singapore.
